So, I've decided that my great 2008 budgeting plan needs some tweaking. Surprisingly, it's not the stitching stash that is causing the problem. It's books. I just can't not buy them. I managed to spend February's allowance before the end of January. I'm trying to save up for a holiday, which is why I was trying to spend less on non-essentials. But even with my large collection, I think I'm just going to have to re-define books as essentials. (Again. De-classifying them never works.)
So I'm taking them out of the budgeting plan. Which, yay, means I can go sign up for Chatelaine's Celtic Mystery. I'll also be drawing up a list of all the stash I "need". I want to kit up the Heritage Sampler as well as Celtic so I shall have to cost everything and work out when I can buy them.
I will be good and not just buy them all now.

You really have been busy, look at all those charming finished you have accomplished, and stashing for more. That's great. Good luck with your future projects, you are such a gifted stitcher. And you actually read, as well. Just how do you do it all?
Thank you for saying such nice things about my stitching. I fit in stitching and reading by not having children or pets and by living over 100 miles from both mine and my partner's parents. Which is probably cheating! :)
